Darkhorse Art & Glassworks

5/10/26
Darkhorse Art & Glassworks has evolved over the last 15 years from a place to show off and, at times, sell our artwork as we explored working with glass within the the Society for Creative Anachronisms, into a tool that has helped support students at the University of Montana where our youngest daughter graduated from. While we focus on handmade lamp work glass beads and fused/slumped glass, we have expanded into a wide variety of areas such as replica medieval coins in pewter, and items such as tablet weaving cards, and more.
With our recent move to North Carolina, we are making the decision to expand our studio to include offering class sessions for those who would like to explore creating their own fused glass pieces of their own. In the near future we will also be offering classes on lampwork glass bead making!
Check out our gallery for items we have created that are available for purchased or a class session to learn how to create your own unique works!

Come join us! Items to purchase and lamp work bead demos!!
We are resetting our count for the new year!
This year our fundraiser will benefit the University of Montana Philip Wright Zoological Lab. A place Rebecca called home and an area we want to continue to support through the endowment we established in her name after her death in 2018.
We have also had the privilege of having other artists donate some of their work to this cause. So you will, at times, see work we have not produced by our own hand, but was created by artists here in the United States. In the past we have had artists such as The Hare and Pear, Potter in the Pines, Golden Forge Custom Designs, as well as individuals such as Wulfric Hammerfestning, Lisa Cunningham, and Marion Newcomer support us and we thank them greatly!
